Laura Goldman is Vice President, Strategy and Ventures at Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit organization behind Sesame Street, the pioneering preschool educational television show. At Sesame Workshop, Laura provides strategic advice to the organization’s internal business units and manages Sesame Ventures. Sesame Workshop launched Sesame Ventures in 2016 to invest in and support mission-aligned startups innovating in education, health, and social welfare for kids.
Prior to joining Sesame Workshop, Laura was an Associate Partner at Dalberg Global Development Advisors, a strategic advisory firm dedicated to global development. At Dalberg, Laura advised foundations, NGOs, and Fortune 500 companies on new program design, growth and transformation strategies, monitoring and evaluation, and organizational design. Prior to Dalberg, Laura worked with the Boston Consulting Group where she advised clients across a wide range of sectors on strategic and operational issues.
Laura holds a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor in Business Administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
